Summary
The Treasury Operations Center is a high-volume, time sensitive
environment processing over 40 million member-related transactions per
year. It utilizes a fully image-enable environment allowing the unit to
increase capacity, reduce labor unit costs, and improve service quality
and product delivery times to members and internal customers. In this
role you will guide and direct all activities and the management team on
operational delivery, reconciliation and reporting, new product
development, customer relationship management, expense control and
forecasting, project management, capacity tracking, risk management, and
compliance matters.
Essential Functions
- Identify operational training needs for the units and assist in
curriculum development and delivery
- Direct and manage the operational staff of a large, multi-faceted
department
- Monitor and maintain operations procedures for compliance to AARP
policies and industry regulations
- Act as primary liaison representing the units in all matters affecting
operations and regulatory compliance, including the development of new
policies, procedures, products, and services.
- Work with internal and external auditors to develop and coordinate
unit audit processes
- Support the teams' execution of tasks and behaviors so that Dashboard
goals, Unit Cost Measurements, KPI's, audit reviews, and SLA's are
always met, and preferably exceeded
Requires
- Degree in Business, Management or related field
- Operations management experience in remittance processing or related
field, such as call center or production environment
- Expertise and working knowledge of payment and information processing
services and related regulatory issues
- Seasoned manager with the ability to collaborate across groups and
departments, connecting with and exhibiting a solid understanding of
partnerships
