The Nemours Foundation, a growing pediatric healthcare organization, is
seeking an experienced Corporate Budget Manager to be part of its
growing team! This individual will be responsible for the development,
implementation and monitoring of comprehensive financial models that are
utilized to establish the annual budget and long-term financial planning
in the organization. Preferred individual will also implement budgets
in production financial systems and monitor/report on variances.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualified candidate must possess a Bachelors' Degree
in Accounting or Finance and have seven (7) to ten (10) years' of
increasing responsibility in budget development and administration as
well as relevant experience in healthcare finance including experience
in a hospital setting.
- Must possess strong financial analysis skills as
well as experience with general ledger and related transactions
processing financial sub-systems and the development and maintenance of
large databases.
- The right candidate will possess strengths in
principles, practices and procedures of budget development and
administration, policy development and implementation, principles of
supervision including leadership, work planning, motivation,
team-building, conflict resolution and evaluation as well as advanced
knowledge of financial software for all aspects of budgeting and
spreadsheets.
- Proven project management skills required as well as
excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Some travel is
required.
