Sr Mgr Business Development | Raytheon | Reston, VA Job Description: Assume a leadership role in growing business in the Federal IT arena with focus on information technology solutions and services within the Department of Homeland Security and Federal Law Enforcement communities. Identify and qualify opportunities, develop win strategies and guide capture management. Serve as the "voice of the customer" throughout the structured evaluation process, relying upon an extensive rolodex of customer and "competimate" contacts. Required Skills: p BS or BA degree and 12+ years' experience in strategic opportunity development in related Federal agencies along with an IT background is needed. Must have leadership abilities, be proactive, and understand common business/IT market segments with a strong focus on information solutions and systems integration bids. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with team, ability to perform under pressure, and strategic thinking capability is essential. U.S. citizenship is required. Desired Skills: Knowledge of GWACs and ID/IQ contract vehicles. Required Education(including Major): Bachelors Degree in related field.
