Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Development professional that has broad
experience in business development, marketing, operations, capture, and
proposal development. This position requires an energetic, dynamic
individual that is a solid communicator verbally and in writing.
Candidate must have the ability to synthesize the requirements of a
customer and present the business case for action/corporate response in
a clear, concise, focused manner . The candidate must be a team
player, fully understanding the requirement to facilitate the execution
of the Corporate Strategic Plan and the fulfillment of the HAI Annual
Operating Plan, in concert with the individual Business Units. The
candidate will meet sales targets and is responsible for meeting sales
goals, including ID/IQ task order sales.
The candidate must be experienced in marketing to clients via
established call plans or cold calling, if necessary, with a focus on
the DOD Market Space, and be diligent to close opportunities in pursuit
of established goals and objectives. The candidate must have an
awareness of the various contracts, in particular ID/IQ type contracts,
and the contracting process as it applies to informing potential clients
of how to engage HAI. The candidate must be able to respond to short
fused requirements on the part of our critical client base, and possess
the leadership ability to work smoothly with the varied elements of HAI
to develop and propose the best value quality solutions in response to
our clients' requirements.
Required Skills:
- Must have a minimum of 10 years experience in business development.
- Must have the ability to acquire a DOD Secret Clearance.
- Must be a solid communicator verbally and in writing, with the
ability to synthesize the requirements of a customer and present the
business case for action/corporate response in a clear, concise, focused
manner .
- Must be able to develop and present business cases, decision
briefs as required.
- Must meet sales targets and will be responsible for meeting
sales goals, including ID/IQ task order sales
- Must fully understand the requirement to facilitate the
execution of the Corporate Strategic Plan and the fulfillment of the
Annual Operating Plan, in concert with the individual Business Units
- Must be experienced in marketing to clients via established
processes
- Must have experience working with multiple teaming partners
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in an ISO 9000/CMM environment
- Working knowledge and facility with various applications such as
Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Adobe, and Microsoft Publisher, and
EXCEL
Education:
BA or BS degree preferred
