We are currently seeking a talented Senior Procurement Specialist to join our organization. In this position, you'll be responsible for: Acting as a liaison between the Opting Group in Europe and the Americas business units Working with purchasing leads in selecting, planning and executing regional initiatives that reduce costs and/or improve performance Evaluating and monitoring contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations Providing feedback regarding the performance of contracted suppliers To qualify for this position, you must have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or Business 5-8 years' experience in either an industrial or utility environment At least 3 years' experience in purchasing, preferably operational purchasing Knowledge of purchasing laws and procedures Excellent analytical, presentation and negotiation skills Knowledge of finance and accounting practices Competency with Microsoft Office Valid passport and be willing to travel to Europe, North America, Central America and South America Must be able to speak and write English and Portuguese Business experience in North America and Brazil a plus We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
